Greetings,
Belated Holiday Wishes
I greeted everyone at Thanksgiving time and since the holidays get so overwhelming time wise...I decided to hold back on publishing my newsletter again until early March. If you haven't signed up to receive one, do so on the left side of this page now!
I do hope that you all had a special holiday season and are as excited as me about what this New Year can deliver to you in your personal and professional lives!
My daughter spent Christmas with me here in California and we started new traditions this year, rather than pressuring ourselves with living up to some of the more outdated stress inducing old ones. Not that some of my favorite memories aren't due to some precious family traditions! We just decided to get creative and make some special memories of our own.
Valentines Day already?
It's hard to believe that Valentines Day is only three weeks away! Time really does fly by these days. Rather than limiting the celebration of this special day of LOVE to romance, I challenge you to put a little time into celebrating your true love- YOU!!! Spoil yourself a little. Take a long hot bath with candles. Treat yourself to a movie; or a long walk in nature; or visit a favorite museum; attend an art show. Try something new or gift yourself with something that brings up happy feelings from childhood. Get creative this year...be the victor, not the victim! Let go of the old...create new memories!!!
As a Mom, I used to make Valentines Day be about my children and the parties that their schools would host as a celebration of love. Now, that they are grown...I still focus on letting them know how much I do LOVE them. I am so grateful that they love me and are such beautiful gifts as human beings. Are you remembering to practice gratitude? It really does have its rewards!! The more grateful that you truly are...the more the Universe delivers things to be grateful for.
Life is ever changing and full of wonderful surprises when on the path of inner spiritual growth and wonder. 'Staying the course and practicing the valuable tools that are available to us through books and courses, such as mine, is ALWAYS worth the time and effort!!! I am seeing evidence of this more and more, as my own personal healing process evolves...there is no doubt about that.
Until next time, I wish you all a New Year filled with more joy, peacefulness, and inner happiness!
